How do I get to Serifos?

Serifos doe not have an airport. You can reach Serifos by ferry from the port of Piraeus, with typically 2–3 departures per day, or from other nearby islands. The journey takes approximately 2 to 3 hours, depending on the type of ferry, and Serifos is usually the first stop. For tickets and updated schedules, please contact the Kondylis travel agency.

Nearest airports?

Most visitors fly into Athens International Airport, then take a bus or taxi to Piraeus (about 1 hour) to catch the ferry. A closer option is Milos Airport, which offers daily ferry connections to Serifos, but international flights there are very limited.

Will I need a car? Shopping? Restaurants?

We strongly recommend renting a car. Homa Villas are located 8.5 km from the port of Livadi and the nearest shops and restaurants are there. The island features many beautiful beaches and charming villages worth exploring. Recommended local car rental companies include: Serifos Cars,Sea and Sky,and Bluebird.

Traveling with an electric car

If you are traveling with an electric car, you should know that on ferries, only electric cars with a battery charged up to 40% are allowed. At Homa Villas, there is an EV Loader charging station available for a fee.


Where do I park?

Please use the area in front of the villas only for check in and check out and park your vehicles in the designated area behind the villas following the main road.


How do I check in?

We usually welcome guests in person and give a brief tour of the property.


Can I bring extra guests?

One or two gusts are welcomed for a few hours visit but not for accommodation. The Villas are designed and all set up specifically for the number of guests listed in your reservation.


Do you accept pets?

We only accept small pets that do not shed. Pets are strictly not allowed on any furniture.Please refer to our house rules section for more details.


What weather should I expect?

Wildlife in Serifos?

Much of Serifos, including Vagia, is a Natura protected area. You may encounter rare insects or small reptiles, and very occasionally non-venomous snakes. Depending on the season, you might experience mosquitoes, bees, or wasps. Our homes are regularly treated with certified pest control services.


Local infrastructure

Roads can be narrow and winding, so extra caution is advised, especially during your first days on the island. 

Occasional power outages may occur but usually last no more than 2–3 hours. Water shortages are rare but possible during dry years.


Wi-Fi is provided via 4G or 5G mobile networks hub, with average speeds around 25 Mbps.


Can we have an event/ceromony at Homa?

Respecting our Natura area, under special conditions of low intensity and lighting , an agreement can be made to rent the space for distinguished ceremonies, provided that all 3 villas are rented.
