Sustainability
Our philosophy is to combine luxury with environmental responsibility. Our goal is to minimize our energy footprint while ensuring the comfort and quality of your stay.
Energy Efficiency
All of our lighting and appliances are low-energy LED. We use timers and smart automation to control exterior lighting, water heating, and pool systems—so that energy is only used when necessary. Our aircons and water pumps use inverter technology.
The building's in cave architecture maximizes natural light, natural thermal insulation and ventilation, reducing the need for artificial lighting and air conditioning.
Sustainable Materials & Design
We use natural materials such as stone, wood, and white cement-based furnishings. All of our furniture is made from solid wood, and our linens are either cotton or linen, free from synthetic blends.
All decorative elements are ceramic, chosen for their natural texture and timeless elegance.
Responsible Resource Use
We prefer Peshtemal towels, which require less water to wash and air-dry quickly, reducing the need for tumble dryers.
We recycle all guest waste and encourage minimal waste practices during your stay.
Water Management
Our water pumps are inverter-type, ensuring maximum efficiency with minimal consumption.
Pool water is continuously filtered —we only top up to compensate for natural evaporation.
Our garden is planted exclusively with native and drought-resistant plants, fully adapted to Serifos's ecosystem and requiring minimal irrigation.
Natural Pool Chlorination
Our pools use sea salt instead of chlorine tablets for natural and gentle water sanitization, offering a safer and more skin-friendly experience.
Respect for Nighttime Wildlife
Pool lights automatically switch off at midnight to protect the local wildlife. All outdoor lighting is low-intensity, carefully designed to limit light pollution and preserve the serenity of the natural night environment.
